Adrienne Eve

Office Manager

A native of Oakville, Adrienne has always had an interest in veterinary medicine. At a young age, she knew that working with animals and helping the people that loved them was what she was meant to do. During her school years, Adrienne worked at busy veterinary clinics in both Oakville and Guelph. After graduating from the University of Guelph with a B.Sc, Adrienne returned to the Oakville clinic where she worked full-time as an animal care attendant, then a veterinary receptionist and finally a front office manager.

Adrienne joined the Briarwood team in January 2019 and her passion lies in helping animals. It is always fulfilling to see a sick animal recover and go on to lead a happy, healthy life with their family. Adrienne also takes client care very seriously. Veterinary medicine is such a rewarding industry to work in, and knowing that you have made a difference in a client and patient's life is what keeps each of us going day after day.

Briarwood has a very strong team. From Veterinarians to Animal Care Attendants and everyone in between, we are all working towards the same goal each and every day. There is no better feeling than working hard and accomplishing goals, all while having some fun while you do it.

Adrienne's first pet was a stray cat that wandered onto her front porch when she was just 2 years old. He was named Bentley and became a cherished member of Adrienne's family. Ever since Bentley, Adrienne's home has always been filled with four-legged family members. Today, Adrienne shares her home with two black cats, Gryphon and Ele (short for Eleven Thirty), and a tabby cat named Flynn. All three were adopted from the Oakville & Milton Humane Society.

When Adrienne is not working, you will find her hiking, biking and camping. In the cooler months, movies and books are what occupy her time. Adrienne is also an avid traveller; having been to over 8 countries in Europe, all across Canada, and even recently travelled down under to Australia.
