Dr. Colette Larocque

I love the opportunities that veterinary medicine offers, and that it is always evolving. Building relationships with clients, patients and the team keep me in general practice! I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008 and achieved my CCRP certification in December 2017.

I joined Briarwood Animal Hospital in September 2017. My interests in veterinary medicine are rehabilitation, dentistry and nutrition. My first pet was a calico tabby Persian mix named Teddy. Now, I have two small dogs and a cat. What I love most about my job is building relationships with clients and patients, helping to educate clients so they feel confident with their pet care.

My favourite thing about the clinic is that everyone is very supportive, dedicated to ongoing learning and improving patient care. Fun fact about me is that I grew up in Ancaster and have been a loyal Ticats fan since a young age!
