Erin Gracey

Registered Veterinary Technician

I decided to go into the veterinary field because of my love for animals, biology, and medicine. I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2016 with a major in Biology and a minor in Zoology and graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan College in 2018.

I first joined the Briarwood team in 2010 as an animal care attendant, and have been involved with the clinic, both working and volunteering, since. I have a special interest in emergency medicine and anesthesia. My first pets were gerbils named Susie and Cassie. I enjoy nursing and caring for animals and love that my job is so rewarding. My favourite part about the clinic is working in a fast-paced environment with a great staff that promotes growth and offers exceptional health care.

I currently have a 14-year-old Manx cat named Max, who loves lazing around and being outdoors in the nice weather. In my spare time, I love reading, spending time with family and friends, and adventuring outdoors!
