Happy Holidays to our clients and patients for continuously supporting and believing in us at Briarwood Animal Hospital, especially through all of the construction. Some days we didn’t have parking yet you still came through our doors and we can’t thank you enough for that.
Oscar Fund: This year, the Stoney Creek Community, our staff and especially our clients, have raised over $1,500 dollars in our first year of the Oscar Fund Program. We can’t thank you enough! This year, seven families have had some assistance with needed medical tests for their canine and feline friends and that is thanks to you!
We are planning multiple fundraisers and raffles to raise funds to make 2016 even more successful. Come on in this month to enter into the monthly draw! Don’t forget to bring your pet, they’ll get a treat too! This month we are raffling off a Cineplex movie night package which includes 2 regular admissions, 2 drinks , popcorn and a toy for your furry friend. (We can’t leave them out!!). Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.00. Draw will take place at the end of the month, just in time to unwind after the holiday hustle and bustle!
Pet Photos with Santa: Father Christmas has once again generously donated his time to pose for photos with your furry and feathered friends on December 9th, 2015 between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm. We are asking for a $10.00 donation which will be donated in full to Tiny Paws Rescue and our Oscar Fund. You will receive a 5×7 picture. We can also email a copy upon request. Hope to see you there!
Friends of the Aviary: Friends of the aviary is a non profit organization run by volunteers in West Hamilton that could use our help. Any monetary donation is always welcome even Canadian Tire money. They are always in need of newspaper, kitchen cleaning supplies, paper towel, sponges and some non toxic plants. We have a donation box set up in the clinic. Food Bank: For the month of December, we are offering $10.00 nail trims with a donation to the Stoney Creek Food bank. Please bring in a non perishable food item and we will give you a voucher for a $10 trim. Feel free to call in advance so you can bring your furry or feathered friend with you and have the nails trimmed at the same time! The best part is that money will go directly into our Oscar Fund!
